Charles Hope Living Secures It's First Build to Rent (BTR) Management Contract

It is with great excitement that Charles Hope Apartments announces the launch of the newest arm of the group, Charles Hope Living, with the signing of its first Build To Rent (BTR) management contract. This is the culmination of seven months of hard work and persistence by the Acquisitions Team.  The location of the first BTR site will be in Brentford, West London and will be opening on the 1st January 2023. Following Brentford, two further locations are due to launch in Haywords Heath in February 2023 and Uxbridge, later in March 2023.  These initial 558 units soon to be added to the ever-growing Charles Hope portfolio, puts the company on track for 5000 BTR units by the end of 2024.

Richard Maurin, Chief Executive Officer,  says "Charles Hope Living has been in the planning phase for over 24 months and our team have been working incredibly hard to get this arm of Charles Hope off the ground.  We will bring a blended approach to the management of portfolio assets, allowing flexibility of contract, stay length and service level from fully serviced to partly furnished. This not only creates a better living experience for the users but also a much higher yield for the fund than any other traditional BTR operator can offer.”

According to global property consultancy Knight Frank, the UK's fast-growing Build to Rent (BTR) sector value has risen to £56 billion, up 60% from  £35 billion in 2019, based on new figures on the firm's analysis of current operational BTR stock and stock under construction.  Based on their analysis the firm has forecasted that this figure will nearly double in size to £102 billion by 2028, an increase of 82%.
